Newtonmore on the brink of fifth successive Premiershi­p success

THE destiny of the 2014 Orion Group Premiershi­p and the make-up of the Scottish Hydro Camanachd Cup final could both be decided today. On what will prove to be a telling afternoon, the Premiershi­p trophy will be on-site for presentati­on at Kiltarlity, should Newtonmore edge their showdown with Lovat.

Lovat, though, will be hoping to prevent the blue-and-white ribbons from being draped around year.

A victory for them will keep their own title hopes alive, and push everything towards the climactic last few weeks.

Newtonmore boss PJ MacKintosh said: “As we do every week, we will be going into the game looking for a win. I don’t think
