The Scotsman takes pride in its reputation as the Festival newspaper. From Mondays to Saturdays until 23 August we are publishing a daily Festival magazine, with hundreds of Fringe reviews, full International Festival review coverage, daily Book Festival coverage, plus hour-by-hour listings – the most comprehensive festivals coverage anywhere. We also publish a weekly pullout in sister paper,

Scotland on Sunday.

We employ professional critics with many years of experience, who see many more shows during the festival than any other professional critics. Want reviews that you can trust? This is where you will find them.

FRINGE FIRSTS

The Scotsman’s famous Fringe First awards recognise outstanding new writing premiered on the Fringe, and are the longest-running and most prestigious theatre prizes at the festival. We will announce our final winners on 21 August.

THE SCOTSMAN FRINGE AWARDS

Our Fringe Awards are the biggest awards show at the Festival. This year they’re on 21 August at the Spiegeltent in St Andrew Square, with music by Camille O’Sullivan. We hope to release a few more tickets on the day – see Thursday’s issue of this magazine for details.
