Manhunt after pupil stabbed to death

A MAN is being sought by police in China after a school pupil was slashed to death and two others severely injured yesterday in the country’s latest violent attack on children.

The man attacked the three pupils with a knife while they were returning home from school in Luojia village for a noon break, Han Li, a propaganda official in the south-eastern province of Jiangxi, said.

He added: “They were almost home when it happened.”
