Sales at Mccoll’s retreat in Q3
Convenience store operator Mccoll’s said like-for-like sales slipped 1.8 per cent in Q3 as it flagged “continued pressure”.
However, the business, which acquired 298 stores from the Coop in July, said total revenue rose 1.8 per cent in the quarter. Boss Jonathan Miller said Mccoll’s is on track to have 1,000 stores by the end of the year.
