Dugdale sets out her alternative
Labour leader Kezia Dugdale has unveiled her “alternative programme” for government, insisting it focuses on what matters to Scots.
First Minister Nicola Sturgeon is due to reveal her legislative plans for the coming year when MSPS return to Holyrood next week.
Sweeping education reforms are at the heart of the plans set out by Ms Dugdale. There is also a bill to prohibit fracking in Scotland as well as a repeal of controversial laws to crack down on sectarian singing in Scotland. A Work and Trade Unions Bill would recognise the “positive contribution” of trade unions.
