Chris Davis homered and drove in three runs as the Orioles beat the Tampa Bay Rays 7-3 despite being 3-0 down after the first inning. Adam Rosales hit a two-run homer to lead the San Diego Padres to a 2-1 win over the Boston Red Sox. Robinson Cano hit his 32nd home run of the season as the Seattle Mariners beat the Texas Rangers 14-6 and Carlos Gonzalez hit a grand slam to help the Colorado Rockies to a 6-0 win over the San Francisco Giants. Kendrys Morales and Eric Hosmer both slugged three-run homers to earn the Kansas City Royals an 11-5 win over the Minnesota Twins. Freddy Galvis’ two-run homer led the Phialdelphia Phillies to a 6-2 win over the Miami Marlins and Bartolo Colon threw six scoreless innings as the New York Mets blanked the Cincinnati Reds 5-0.
