Teenager arrested after college attack

A 17-year-old boy has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after two students were stabbed outside a college.

Police were called to the scene at Manchester College at 11:10am yesterday. A 17-yearold boy suffered a stab wound to his chest and an 18-year-old man was stabbed in the back.

Both are stable in hospital after they received treatment for their injuries.

A police spokeswoman said: “A 17-year-old boy has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder.”
