#TINTHEPARK

Organisers of T in the Park announced the event would be cancelled in 2017 as DF Concerts take ‘a break’ to re-evaluate its future. @Gavinlundy said: “3 people died at T in the Park last year. The thing quite obviously needs a break now.” @Darrenburza wrote: “Honestly so gutted that T in the Park has confirmed they’re taking a break. There’s nothing that comes close to that festival man.” @tippett1996 added: “Everything changed after T in the park left Balado.” @Ciaranyoung went on: “T In The Park went rapidly downhill over the last few years. Needs to downsize and reevaluate their target audience.”

#FMQS

First Minister Nicola Sturgeon was challenged over rail disruption at FMQS yesterday, announcing she would consider a rail fare freeze proposed by Labour. @Fergoodness said: “Ruth Davidson knocked off her script somewhat there. Struggling badly to ad lib at FMQS today.” @snapperup piped up: “Get the impression the sycophantic applause for just about every response from Nicola Sturgeon has increased lately.” @Elvishcostello wrote: “Wow, so all SNP’S failings are the fault of a gov from a decade ago, and their austerity is different to the Tories’. Like every week.” @Macnessie piped up: “Looks like Scottish Labour & Scottish Tories are only interested in point scoring at FMQS rather than getting answers for actual concerns.” @Litheleither said: “Who’s Nicola Sturgeon not taking lectures from today then?”
