A rediscovered census from 1764 has revealed that the 90 St Kilda residents feasted on 1,600 seabirds a day, as other kinds of food were so scarce on the remote archipelago. @allanrob9 commented: ‘They had St Kilda sheep and eggs from the cliffs but the diet was limited. Edinburgh’s Hogmanay showcase concert headlined by local lad Paolo Nutini has sold out in a record three hours. @Han_barrie piped up: ‘I will 100 per cent cry if Paolo Nutini sings Caledonia during the Hogmanay party’ @Connorboyd_ shared: ‘I wish I was able to see Paolo Nutini at Hogmanay. Hillsborough campaigner Prof Phil Scraton has turned down an OBE in the Queen’s New Year Honours list. @underagreysky –aka Paul Scraton – was aghast: ‘OBE?
