Tommy Gallacher: Son of Celtic legend Patsy Gallacher, Tommy amassed 190 appearances for Dundee as a wing-half between 1947-56, helping the Dens Park club to win the Scottish League Cup in 1951 and 1952. After his retirement, he became one of the most respected journalists in the country working for the The Courier in Dundee. David Meiklejohn: The Rangers great won 12 Scottish league titles and five Scottish Cups during a 17-year career at Ibrox, captaining the club and also Scotland for six of his 15 caps . Retired in 1936 and took a job with the Daily Record before returning to football in 1947 as manager of Partick Thistle. Willie Woodburn (pictured): An inductee of the Scottish Football Hall of Fame and Rangers Hall of Fame, the defender made over 200 appearances for the Ibrox club between 1938-54 and won 24 Scotland caps. Later worked for the News of the World, and based in Edinburgh, covered games in the capital. Danny Blanchflower: Legendary Northern Ireland international who captained Tottenham Hotspur during their double-winning season of 1961. Active in journalism during his playing career, after hanging up his boots he worked for the Sunday Express asa columnist from 1964 until 1988, and as a TV pundit. Doug Baillie: Played from 1953 to 1970 as a centre-half for Airdrie, Rangers, Third Lanark, Falkirk and Dunfermline. After retiring became a football journalist, working for The Sunday Post. Gregor Robertson: Edinburgh-born full-back began his career at Nottingham Forest and later played for Rotherham, Chesterfield, Crewe, Northampton and Grimsby. Capped 15 times for Scotland Under 21s and now a freelance football writer.
