A prominent Scottish independence campaign group said it expects a new vote on Scottish independence to be called within the next few weeks. @heatherrrkxo said: “Too much has gone wrong since 2014. I always said voting against independence was voting for things to get worse and that happened.” @Rabthebrew tweeted: “It worries me that people might vote for independence not realising the economic consequences would be profound.” @heatherrrkxo offered: “I truly hope that this time round people won’t believe the scaremongering media and lies unionists tell us #indyref2 #makeinformedchoices” @sonduh wrote: “Give Sturgeon her indyref2. The Scots would not be mad enough to leave the UK and join the EU. It would be the end of SNP.”

Aberdeen continued their terrific run of form after scoring twice in quick succession late in the game to defeat Kilmarnock 2-1 at Rugby Park. Defender Miles Addison made two errors for the hosts after coming on as sub. @The_tman10 said: “HORRIFIC defending from Addison what’s he doing get rid of it!” @muz1881 joked: “Addison shuffles his feet like my Grandad going to the kitchen.” @craig_killie tweeted: “Sub ultimately ruined 80 minutes of hard work, but still positives from the performance. Really impressed by how Mcculloch set the team up.” @russabercrombie wrote: “Our performance up until Addison sold the jerseys is enough reason for me to remain positive.”

Ukip praised its People’s Army “in Stoke to campaign” for party leader Paul Nuttall. It has been pointed out that the photo was posed for outside Bolton’s Macron Stadium, where the party held its spring conference. @andyjameshickss joked: “Pro tip: If you rent rooms around a big football ground make sure you don’t take pictures immediately outside claiming to be somewhere else.” @Rossh1983 wrote: “Embarrassing behaviour from UKIP. Nuttall was doing a speech in Bolton which would explain why they’re there.”
