Teenage pair tried to pass fake £50 note in shop
Police in East Lothian are warning local businesses after two teenagers tried to pass fake £50 notes at the Co-op stores in Tranent and Haddington.
The pair, both around 16 with Irish accents, attempted to buy various goods using a fake £50 note last Friday.
The boy is described as 5ft 8ins tall with short dark hair. The girl is 5ft 5ins tall with blonde hair. People with information can call Police Scotland on 101.
