Westminster killer’s wife condemns his atrocity
The wife of Westminster attacker Khalid Masood has said she is “saddened and shocked” by the atrocity, saying she “condemns” his actions.
In a statement released through the Metropolitan Police, Rohey Hydara said: “I express my condolences to the families of the victims that have died, and wish a speedy recovery to all the injured.”
Masood, 52, killed four people in an 82-second rampage in Westminster last Wednesday before he was shot dead by armed police.
Two men, aged 58 and 30, arrested at two addresses in Birmingham following the atrocity on suspicion of preparation of terrorist acts remain in custody.
The inquests for the victims and also for Masood will open and adjourn at Westminster’s Coroner Court on Wednesday.
