Hamilton Accies ‘Tricky’ matches

- Gilbert Mowat

You can virtually write the stories yourself. “We have nine cup finals to play” or “The season starts now”. We’ve been on a very poor run of form but there is consolation in the fact that all the “write-off” fixtures are out of the way. While we still have to go to Fir Park and Dundee before the split, these matches fall into the “tricky”, rather than the “impossible” bracket.

But we need to be better than we have been and get things sorted out at the back, the middle and the front. Some key players are coming back to fitness and we have also signed former Hearts winger David Templeton, who is a talented player whose career has gone awry because of injury. We have St Johnstone at our place this weekend and have to start the game on the front foot and take the game to them.
