Ross County Legends return

- John Maxwell

During the international break, some of County’s legends returned to Victoria Park to play for Scott Boyd’s testimonial side. It was a brilliant day out in glorious sunshine to mark his ten years at the club. It was fully deserved for him, but it was also great to see some of his former team-mates, who played such a big part in County’s progress to the top flight.

Having Stuart Kettlewell and Paul Lawson dictate the centre of midfield once again reminded me of just how good County were in their prime, while Richard Brittain got one of the biggest cheers of the day when his last-moment equaliser was thumped into the Jail End. It was fitting for Boyd to have a great tribute but also for the other players who got to play their part again.
