Did our report have you fooled?

The Scotsman’s report on Saturday that BBC Scotland’s flagship news programme will include at least ten minutes of reports in Gaelic was indeed an April Fool.

The story claimed BBC staff would be given compulsory lessons in the language.

But readers may have noticed the name of the BBC’S Gaelic representative Fa Roil Pol – an anagram of April Fool.

Winning numbers in saturday night’s Lotto draw were 1, 2, 11, 23, 25 and 54, with bonus ball 14.
