Missing boy found safe after police search

A boy has been found “safe and well” after concerns for his welfare sparked a police appeal.

The boy, thought to be between ten and 14 years old, was seen outside Orlando’s takeaway on Skerray Street, in the Milton area of Glasgow, with two men on Friday just after 6:30pm.

Witnesses said the pair appeared to be “coercing” the boy to walk with them. Police Scotland confirmed yesterday that the young person has been traced safe and well.

Officers thanked members of the public for their help with the appeal.
