OAP found lying on road after being hit by car

An OAP was struck by a vehicle nearby to a pub in Paisley.

The 64-year-old was found lying on Neilston Road at about 1:45am yesterday morning.

He was taken by ambulance to hospital where his condition was described as serious last night. Sergeant Mark Miller said: “t is believed from CCTV that he was struck by a vehicle. I am confident someone will have seen what happened to the man.”
