Shoe repair shop engulfed in blaze

A large fire broke out at a shoe repair shop in Aberdeen city centre at the weekend.

Rose Street was closed off from about 4pm on Saturday.

Flames had engulfed a shoe repair premises, which sent smoke billowing into the sky.

The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said nine fire engines had been mobilised to the scene.

There were no injuries reported in the incident.
