Man arrested over attack on bus passenger

A man has been arrested and is being held in police custody in connection with an attack on board a bus service in Renfrewshire.

Police were called to a report of the alleged incident on another man on board a bus in Neilston Road, Paisley, on Saturday at 11.15pm.

Emergency services attended and a 39-yearold-man was taken to the Royal Alexandra Hospital for treatment. Medical staff described his condition as serious.
