Three charged over Class B drugs recovery

Three men have been charged under the Misuse of Drugs Act after officers recovered Class B drugs in Addiewell.

Officers carried out an intelligence-led search of a unit in the Schoolhouse Industrial Estate on Blackburn Road on 15 May and discovered cannabis cultivation inside the building.

Around £30,000 worth of plants and dried matter were seized and inquiries continued to identify those responsible.

As a result the men aged 28,52and67yearsoldwere subsequently arrested and will now be reported to the procurator fiscal.
