Singer Fish ‘definitely not dead’

Scottish singer Fish has reassured fans he is not dead after rumours circulated online.

The former frontman of Marillon, who lives in Haddington, East Lothian, said he was treated in hospital for a heart disorder.

Derek Dick, 59, known by his stage name Fish, said: “I didn’t have a heart attack. Despite some rumours filtering out I am most definitely not dead yet. I have a treatable atrial fibrullation that means my heart is working in weird time signatures just now.

“What more would you expect from a progressive rock singer?”
