Bid filed for new Celtic FC hotel complex

-

An application has been filed for planning permission in principle to erect a hotel, museum, shop and ticket office for Celtic Football Club.

If the proposals from Holmes Miller are approved, the complex would occupy 2.2 hectares of land to the south of London Road in the Clyde Gateway regeneration area.

In a statement the architects said: “Our proposal seeks to offer a bold and contemporary design with an ordered and rational approach to the elevations.

“The scheme sits on the site of the existing shop and ticket office.”
