Detectives probe death near railway

The death of a man who was found near the railway line close to a station is being investigated by police.

British Transport Police (BTP) and paramedics were called to the scene near Kilpatrick station in West Dunbartonshire at about 8am on Sunday.

The 19-year-old-man, from the Clydebank area, was taken to hospital but later died. His death is being treated as unexplained. Detectives said the man left a nearby property at about 3am and have appealed for information.
