#GREENDAY

Fans of the American poppunk band Green Day were left disappointed yesterday after an open-air concert in Glasgow was cancelled at the last minute, with promoters blaming “adverse weather”. @huffle_punk asked: “Green Day managed to play on a plank of wood in The Simpsons Movie but can’t handle a wet field in Glasgow?” @fassywassy said: “Don’t go blaming Green Day for cancelling - it’s not their fault organisers were underprepared, don’t blame the band” @shakeys_sister offered: “Can people not be mad at Green Day please? It was not their decision to cancel, they’ve played in pure mud before. They don’t care about weather” @Jordanm_117 added: “First time going to see Green Day and it’s cancelled due to the someone’s incompetence. Devastated”

But are waterproof ponchos included in the official dress code?”
