Ground up: Contractor named for Cala Homes development in capital

The lead contractor for a landmark development in Edinburgh has been confirmed. Following the signing of a contract worth more than £30 million, BAM Construction will deliver the main shell and core structure of Cala Homes’ The Crescent, within the grounds of the former Donaldson’s College. Bruce Dickson, regional director of BAM Construction, said: “It’s fair to say that this project has some challenges, but we’ve already been working in partnership together for over a year to resolve the majority of these.”
