Standard Life JV green lights IPO
The board of Standard Life’s joint venture in India has paved the way for a possible initial public offering (IPO).
HDFC Standard life approved a resolution which would enable an IPO of the company amid concerns that a proposed merger with Max Life Insurance Co may not go ahead. The IPO would be for up to 20 per cent of shares in the group, said the company.
