American violinist Joshua Bell takes up residence at this year’s Festival, including two sparkling chamber music events at the Queen’s Hall. The first, with pianist Dénes Várjon, features Grieg’s Violin Sonata No 3; in the second, both are joined in trio repertoire by cellist Steven Isserlis
