Life sciences firm opens European HQ in Glasgow
More than a dozen jobs will be created with the opening of a new life sciences hub.
First Minister Nicola Sturgeon officially opened the European headquarters of REPROCELL at the West of Scotland Science Park in Glasgow.
The new facilities will generate 15 new jobs and safeguard a further three in the fields of stem cell reprogramming and 3D cell culture.
The company invested £630,000 in the move as well as receiving £150,000 of support from Scottish Enterprise.
Ms Sturgeon said: “Scotland has a global reputation as a country of excellence when it comes to life sciences and this investment is another vote of confidence in Scotland as a country that has the talent, the facilities and the expertise to thrive.”
