Inverness Caley Thistle ‘Ultras’ not welcome
Saturday was my first trip to Brechin since Highland League days and what a pleasant experience. A super wee bar pre-match under the stand and catering at a reasonable price. Add the fact there was no segregation and you could stand close to the action, this football away day was very enjoyable. Victory was a relief and hopefully, it can kickstart our season.
The only downside was the behaviour of some of our young supporters. The trend of trying to be so-called “ultras” is not welcome. The “no pyro no party” slogan is not true, nor welcome The atmosphere young fans create is great but it needs to be appropriate. Clubs, including ICT, need to be clear on where the boundaries are and clamp down on those who cross them.
