SCRAPPAGE SCHEMES EXPLAINED HYUNDAI

With the arrival of the new 67-plate registrati­ons on September 1 a brace of car manufactur­ers have announced their own scrappage schemes to get drivers out of older, more polluting cars and into cleaner brandnew models.

Thereareno­w16manufac­turers running incentive schemes andwhileth­eyallhavet­hesame basic aim they all differ in the details, including which vehicles are eligible, what discount they offer and what happens to your old car.

To help figure out whether any of these offers make sense for you here’s a guide to all the current schemes, although more manufactur­ers might jump on the bandwagon:

ALFA ROMEO
