Meaty role: Burger chain Byron appoints new chief executive
Byron Hamburgers has appointed a new chief executive nearly four months after its previous boss stepped down. The burger chain confirmed yesterday that Simon Cope has been promoted to chief executive, having only been hired as Byron’s managing director back in July. It ends Byron’s search for a new chief after Andy Manders stepped down in May due to “personal reasons”, according to the company, just a few months into his role. Cope joined Byron earlier this summer from Wagamama.
