Dundee Missed opportunity

You miss 100 per cent of the chances you don’t take. If you’re Dundee, you miss 90 per cent of the chances served up on a silver platter.

Some appalling finishing and goalkeeping heroics prevented Dundee from capitalising on a dominant first-half performance against Thistle, who won the game late on. The phrase daylight robbery doesn’t begin to cut it, and Dundee fans left Firhill raging at the manner of the defeat. Two preventable goals mean we’ve now failed to keep a single clean sheet in the league, ten games into the season. We were consistently let down by our forwards who passed up a glut of chances, but the blame can’t sit with them alone. After all, other than Roarie Deacon’s goal against Aberdeen, our midfielders haven’t scored in the league this campaign.
