Appeal to trace Albanian Dungavel absconder

Police have issued a fresh appeal for help to trace an Albanian man who absconded from Dungavel detention centre.

Guxim Imerio, 25, left the facility in South Lanarkshire at about 9.40pm on Monday.

Police said he is not known to have family in the UK but has links to Manchester and they want to “ensure that he is safe and well”.

Mr Imerio was last seen wearing a light-grey hooded top with a green Liver- 0 Guxim Imerio has been missing since Monday pool FC top underneath and grey jogging bottoms. He is 5ft 6in and of average build with short black hair and brown eyes. He is described as having a clear complexion with an oval face and sharp features.
