Early morning blaze destroys resource centre
A community resource centre has been damaged in an early-morning blaze in South Lanarkshire.
About 40 firefighters attended the incident in Calder Street, Blantyre, about 1:50am yesterday.
Eight fire engines, including two aerial appliances and a forward control unit, were sent to the scene.
Firefighters were working externally to tackle the flames using powerful water jets. There were no known casualties.
