Popular music critic dies after cancer battle

-

Former Scotsman music and food critic Conrad Wilson has been lauded as a journalist “through and through” by his family after losing his battle with prostrate cancer.

Mr Wilson, who worked as the newspaper’s staff music critic for 27 years, died at Western General Hospital yesterday morning. The 85-year-old leaves behind one son and four daughters.

Wife Sue Wilson said: “He just had time for everything and everyone. He managed to lead a very busy life and still have time for his family.”
