Fishing firm nets £1.1m funds boost
Asteria Fishing Company has received a £1.1 million funding package from Royal Bank of Scotland to help construct a new vessel.
The Skye-based firm – run by father and son Alasdair and Andrew Montgomery – will use the funds to build a ship at the revived Buckie Shipyard. It will be the first to be built there for about 20 years.
