Concert For Stewart

The inimitable Radio Scotland producer Stewart Cruickshank passed away two years ago, having touched many a Scottish band over the last three decades with his enthusiastic patronage. The line-up for this celebration concert, raising funds for Drake Music Scotland, attests to his benevolent influence: Justin Currie, above, The Pastels, Karine Polwart, Emma Pollock, Rab Noakes, Duglas T Stewart and Davie Scott, plus a supergroup featuring members of Teenage Fanclub, Belle and Sebastian, The 1990s and V Twin, affectionately called The Crunchies after Cruickshank’s nickname, Captain Crunch. n Saint Luke’s, Glasgow, 24 November, 0141- 552 8378.
