End looms for handwritten exams in Scottish schools
It’s unfortunate that Scottish education is choosing to ignore the evidence that learning to write by hand is exceptionally beneficial to brain development and as such should be promoted as a vital part of education and exams. – Lowly Pheasant We really are trying to get to the point where learning is no longer needed. We started by allowing calculators to be used in exams.
