-

Police have launched a murder inquiry following the death of a man in Aberdeen.

Officers found the man’s body at a property in Alexander Terrace, in the Tillydrone area, at about 10am on Wednesday.

Detectives, who are treating the death as suspicious, said they have detained a woman following the discovery.

Detective Inspector Gary Winter, the officer leading the inquiry, said: “I can reassure the public that this was a contained, isolated incident and that at no point was there any threat to the wider public.”
