St Mirren Goodbye Lewis

I suppose it was always inevitable that Lewis Morgan would move on to bigger and better things. What a joy it has been to watch the youngster develop into such a fine footballer.

We can draw some comfort from the fact that new club Celtic will loan him back to us for the remainder of the season.

I just hope that he continues to put in 100 per cent every time he pulls on a Saints jersey and that we will see him leave Paisley as a Championship title winner in May.

On the pitch things are moving along nicely, although it was disappointing not to have picked up all three points against Morton in Tuesday’s Renfrewshire derby. Oh well, we’re still top of the pile.
