Firefighters battle Old Town blaze
Dozens of firefighters tackled a large blaze in Edinburgh’s Old Town yesterday.
Crews were alerted to the incident at a three-storey building in the Cowgate area shortly before 3pm.
Seven pumping appliances, a height vehicle and a command support unit were involved in the effort to combat the flames.
There were no reports of any casualties as a result of the fire.
It is understood the blaze broke out in the building that houses the OX184 bar and venue.
