90 jobs lost as wood firm enters administration

Almost 90 workers have lost their jobs after a woodprocessing firm entered administration.

Falkirk-based James Callander and Son Ltd had been experiencing tough trading conditions.

Blair Nimmo and Tony Friar of KPMG were appointed as joint administrators of the firm yesterday.

Following the move, 89 employeeshavebeenmade redundant, the administrators announced.
