90 jobs lost as wood firm enters administra­tion

Almost 90 workers have lost their jobs after a woodproces­sing firm entered administra­tion.

Falkirk-based James Callander and Son Ltd had been experienci­ng tough trading conditions.

Blair Nimmo and Tony Friar of KPMG were appointed as joint administra­tors of the firm yesterday.

Following the move, 89 employeesh­avebeenmad­e redundant, the administra­tors announced.
