Driver assaulted by four men with knives

A motorist needed hospital treatment after he was attacked by four men armed with knives.

The 37-year-old man was assaulted in a “targeted attack” in Battlefield, Glasgow on 2 January.

He was in a Citroen Berlingo parked on Lochleven Road at its junction with Dundrennan Road when he was assaulted at around 7pm. The attackers made off in a 17 plate grey BMW 3 series.

Police discovered the injured man and he was take to Glasgow Royal Infirmary where he was treated for minor injuries before being released.
