Trump card
US President Donald Trump cancelled his trip to London, saying he did not want to cut the ribbon on the new US embassy as he deemed the building’s relocation a “bad deal”.
Most Americans don’t want him either. I know we would really love him to have a home in Siberia. Forever.
Patricia Fears
Looks like British visas should be reduced since there are so many who don’t want the President of the US on their soil.
Becky King Anderson
He is quite right to cancel his trip. Who would want to meet May? Good on you Donald.
Michael Mcguigan
Best news I’ve heard all year. Hell, I’ll throw in last year as well.
Julie Thompson
He’s scared of a Glasgow kiss.
Jennifer Gaffney
He’ll have to add coward to his list of adjectives to describe himself!
Judith Mcdonald
He can’t take the heat. Coward among all the other failings.
Fred Phillips
What a wee snowflake.
Gordon Lynch
Funny how the French (in this case cleverer than us) were able to put aside their dislike and welcome him with grace and dignity. Ditto the Japanese. I wonder which countries will benefit the most – those who throw childish insults at him or those who don’t?
Brother Louis
Trump must be vilified. If he isn’t valued, why should he make a visit? The loser will be the UK.
Joan Simpson
What is the word far right morons like to use, ah yes, “snowflake”. Trump is just a huge coward, a typical bully, loves dishing it out but can’t take criticism. Shame, it would have been nice for him to see how much he is hated.
The Mike
Comical. His excuse for not coming blames Obama for a bad deal for this embassy when it was Dubya that did the ‘deal’. Muppet. Just like all those Trump voters who were apoplectic about Obama probably playing golf as 9/11 happened.
Dunnomuch
Well done, Britain. Love you even more.
