What’s the last piece of clothing you bought?
A leopard print vintage cape from a stall at a market in London. It’s kind of Audrey Hepburn meets Bet Lynch – Audrey Lynch if you will, it’s very fun to wear and perfectly accommodates my growing baby bump.
What are you addicted to buying?
I’m on the road filming most of the year so finding time to shop is a little tricky. I buy lots of vintage online, especially on ebay.
Best ever bargain?
An Ossie Clark maxi dress in perfect condition that I found in a charity shop about five years ago. It will be in my wardrobe forever.
Who has great style?
Bowie, Dolly Parton, Jon Snow. That lovely man’s socks rock.
Name your favourite high street shop.
Maje, I love their tailoring and they have really brilliant sales. I often find some great things in & Other Stories and Zara too.
Any fashion disasters
you’d care to tell us about? Countless. My rule is to wear anything that makes you smile. To my dad’s wedding, I wore a flamingo pink Eighties cocktail dress. I had such brilliant fun wearing it but I do look back on photos and think I maybe should have opted for something a little less Strictly.
What’s your favourite item in your wardrobe?
My current absolute favourite would have to be a vintage turquoise blue dress that I bought in a shop in Brighton called Hope and Harlequin. n
