Brexit break

-

Can you blame him? This farce has been dragging on long enough. He probably feels that if they really wanted him they would have done something about it by now.

Bill Longmuir I would prefer a Scotsman to do the job. I do not like the idea of Scotland not producing its own national manager. He can’t be that great. How about Alex Mcleish or Steve Clarke?

Susan Barnes I wish Mr O’neill all the best for the future. He would have been a good manager for Scotland, but our problem is a lack of players. And money. The BBC pays Gary Lineker more than the entire BBC Scotland sports budget. After we take our FREEDOM!, managers like Pep Guardiola, Carlo Ancelotti, Antonio Conte and Jose Mourinho will be queuing up to manage the national squad

Yoyo Egg Frying pan into the fire. I’m amazed he showed any interest in the job in the first place: there’ll be English Championship clubs that’ll pay more and offer a better prospect of success.

Adam P Smith No way he could take the job with the current SFA still in charge, he would fail before he started. Why is the SNP leadership so very desperate for the UK to remain in the single market when this would wipe out the only pretext they think they have for Indyref2?

Paul Holyrood I thought foreign affairs were a reserved matter? Are we paying for this?

Hugh_oxford Voters elected our SNP gov’t to stand up and look out for Scotland. They are engaged in these bilateral talks with EU member states to do just that. We must make sure the English gov’t doesn’t sell us out to appease English voters.

RJS The voters most certainly did not. They elected MSPS to carry out the duties allocated to Holyrood. Nothing more than that.
