Fabric pilgrims travel from all over Scotland to seek out Karelia House, a central hub of Scotland’s crafting community, to pick up the best products, get expert advice or simply relax in front of a cosy wood burning stove, enjoy a coffee, home baking or a delicious lunch.

Managing director Shirley Shearer, says, “We are looking forward to meeting visitors at The Creative Craft Show and The Scottish Quilting Show. Our lovely team of experts will be on hand to help visitors choose the best equipment and materials for their crafting project from knitting needles through to state-of-the-art sewing machines.

“Karelia House is a crafters’ paradise – we only stock the best of products and our philosophy is simple; whatever you enjoy doing in life – whether it’s cooking, knitting, patchwork or painting – if you want the best results, use the best ingredients. “At the shows we will be launching a series of Karelia House Retreats which will be taking place throughout 2018. During the retreats our guests can take some time out over two days to polish up their skills, learn new techniques and relax in the stunning Perthshire countryside.” Tel: 01887 822027, www.kareliahouse.co.uk
