Motorbike safety scheme launched
Police chiefs have launched their annual motorcycle safety campaign as many bikers begin to return to the road for the first time in several months.
It promotes safe motorcycling and aims to improve rider behaviour and reduce road casualties. The six-month campaign was launched outside the RRS Discovery in Dundee as longer daylight hours and better weather sees bikers return to roads and motorways. Asst Chief Const Mark Williams said: “Motorcycling on Scotland’s roads is a fantastic and enjoyable experience.”
