#SKRIPAL

Salisbury poisoning victim Yulia Skripal has broken her silence on the attack which left her and her father, former spy Sergei, in intensive care. She released a statement via the Met Police. @Rachael_swindon queried: “I’m really pleased Yulia Skripal is doing well, and her dad is improving. You know what’s coming... If this was a state assassination, using the deadliest military grade nerve agent known to mankind, how come they’re both alive? Can anyone from the government explain this?” @Whitegl remarked: ‘“I am sure you appreciate that the entire episode is somewhat disorientating” – looks like Yulia Skripal has been getting her shots of British Understatement serum.” @Minhosa57 claimed: “If you are buying what the Russian ambassador is peddling at that press conference or the alleged Yulia Skripal phone conversation you must be mad...or a Russian Bot.”

The first major of the golfing season got under way in the sunny climes of Augusta in Georgia, as the world’s top players chase victory in the Masters. Rory Mcilroy is among the favourites, but all eyes are on Tiger Woods. @Jeremy_roenick posted: “One of my favourite weekends of the year, The Masters starts today. I’ll be looking at a TV screen all weekend long. I love it.” @Charliedaniels added: “Look forward to the Masters all year long and by the looks of the roster it could be one of the most competitive ever.” @Oddshark reported: ‘Tiger [Woods] is the biggest liability we’ve ever had in a golf tournament. If Tiger wins [The Masters] we will not make any revenue on golf this year.’ said the VP of Vegas bookmaker MGM.”
